parents are the most伟大的 among us. they watch over us every day, offering a lifeline and a heart of hospitality. from their own small lives, we can learn so much about what it means to nurture someone else's growth.

once when my father was working in a factory, he was always busy and didn't seem particularly happy. one evening, as the family gathered for dinner, my father started discussing his next shift with me. "this is going to be hard," he said, holding up a grain of salt under his plate. "you know, i'm tired of having this all thought out." after we finished eating, my father told us that she had been working the night before and would return to dinner.

my mother was another example of the kind of person who made our lives so much easier. one day, when i was playing with a goldfish at home, i noticed that all the fish were dying quickly. i couldn't believe it—my mother had bought a new tank and started feeding fresh water into it. "look," she said, examining the fish. "they're just not happy anymore." i felt a part of me break down, but i didn't let it go.

my grandmother was even more loving than my mother. one night, when i was in the kitchen, my grandmother had pulled out some fresh flower petals and placed them on the table. she said, "this is how you grow: water the plants without harming those around you." i loved this way of life. i wouldn't want to be left behind, no matter what the weather or the rain outside. i would fight through it all.

my dad had such a strange routine that made me feel a little bad. one day, after we were all sitting on the floor, he had put on his shoes and began walking around in circles, making sure everyone was safe. when i started to get hungry, he offered me some rice and a side of beans from the family's garden. as soon as i saw him eat them, i thought about how my dad was always thinking about us. "i'm proud of you both," he said, looking at me.

no matter what our circumstances were, we were given a chance to grow and develop. one day when we were trying to figure out how to start a garden, i realized that some plants didn't need water or sunlight. i looked up at my dad and asked him for advice. "don't worry," he said. "you'll get it." after i finished, the plants had grown much more than they did before.

once when my little brother was growing up, i couldn't believe how kind and孝顺 he turned out to be. one night, as we were sitting on the floor watching our new fish tank light up with colorful lights, i heard a faint clicking sound. my dad began explaining that it was because of the way the water was mixed with something called "dust" from the family's garden. "it makes them look like little bears," he said, rolling eyes at me.

my father had such a special way of watching over us. he'd often tell stories about his own life before he passed away and told us to do what was right for him. one day, when i was sitting in the living room listening to my dad talk about his job, i felt like i could say anything—except something that would bother him. "don't say anything," he said. "i'm a father now."

from the moment we were born until we became independent, my father always gave me the chance to be himself and do whatever it was good for us. one day when i was trying to figure out how to take care of our family pets, my dad explained that we should focus on ourselves first before worrying about their needs. after i figured this out, he told me, "you're so lucky."

no matter what our life path was, we were given the power to make a difference in someone else's life. one day when my little sister was trying to help her brother with his homework, she suggested that we should give him some sleep so he wouldn't be as tired later on. "sleep is essential," she said. from then on, i felt confident knowing that she would be there for me.

parents are the biggest source of love and support. they watch over us every day, teaching us how to take care of ourselves and others. their kindness and wisdom have shaped my journey, and I will always remember them as the people who gave me so much. together, we will continue to grow stronger, no matter what challenges may come our way.
